Russian Honey Cake (Medovik)

Mix together Cool Whip and sour cream until smooth.
Assemble the Cake:
Frost each cake layer with the sour cream frosting, stacking the layers as you go. Frost the sides and top of the cake as well.
Garnish the cake with the crushed crumbs.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the cake overnight or for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
