1. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
3. Cream butter and sugar: Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one by one and then the vanilla.
4. Mix wet and dry: Alternate between the flour mixture and the milk with vinegar, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
5. Bake: Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 50-60 minutes. Poke holes in the hot cake with a toothpick.
6. Butter glaze: Melt the butter with the sugar and brandy over medium-low heat, without boiling. Add the vanilla. Slowly pour over hot cake.
7. Cool and decorate: Let cool in the mold for 30 minutes, then invert. Decorate with a little icing and candy if you wish.
