Broccoli Grape Salad Freshness
In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, halved grapes, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, sunflower seeds or slivered almonds, and cheese (if using).
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, honey or sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss everything together until well coated.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavours to meld.
Before serving, give the salad a quick toss and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve chilled.
